John Ballard, Mercy Health CEO, received the Lynda Gratton "CEO of the Year" Award at the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Awards dinner on 11 November.
This prestigious award recognises John's leadership, enthusiasm and passion in his role at Mercy Health.
In his acceptance address John paid great tribute to the collective efforts of all staff and in particular Kate McCormack, Director People, Learning and Culture and her team, who in no small part have played a most important role this achievement.
"I know that I speak on behalf of all Mercy Health Board Members and staff on extending our warmest congratulations to John on receiving this award," said Julien O'Connell, Chairman, Mercy Health.
