Craig Parry Golf Day Raises Important Funds for Mercy Palliative Care
On Monday 8 February 2010, Craig Parry, pro golfer and long time supporter of Mercy Palliative Care, was joined by golf enthusiasts and friends for the 18th Annual Craig Parry Golf Day.
Dedicated celebrities, PGA pros and VGA amateurs played alongside event sponsors at the Medway Golf Course in an exciting day of golf and entertainment.
The Tobin Brothers Trophy was awarded to winning team Dean Jones, Mick Newell, Eugene Lynch and David Diaz (Catholic Church Insurances Team 1) who achieved a score of 59.
The event raised over $22,000 for Mercy Palliative Care, which will support the delivery of free 24 hour specialist care to terminally ill people and their families. Pain management equipment will also be purchased to meet the growing demand for symptom management through palliative care services.
Mercy Palliative Care thanks Craig Parry, the celebrities, dinner guests, auction item donors and volunteers for helping to achieve this fantastic result!
