Our services help elderly or disabled people remain in their own home and enjoy an independent and fulfilling lifestyle.
We understand that everyone reaches a stage in their life when they need a little extra help. Some just need a few hours help a week, maybe to do the weekly shopping and cook a meal, others need a full-time live in carer.
We also offer a range of respite services to give full-time carers (eg a spouse or relative) a break for a few hours, or days, to enable them to relax and have time for themselves.
Mercy Home & Community Care's dedicated personal carers are recruited for their skill and experience in helping clients live independently. Importantly carers are carefully chosen to ensure they provide companionship and the right balance of friendliness and professionalism.
Mercy Home & Community Care is trusted by individuals and families and is a service provider for government organisations and church and community groups - Click Here for a list of these organisations.
History
Windsor Home Care (now Mercy Home & Community Care) was established in 1990. It has grown dramatically since then and is still managed by the original founder who is a passionate advocate for home care, having cared for her own mother for many years.
In 2006 Windsor Home Care joined Mercy Health. Windsor Home Care was chosen by Mercy Health because of its impressive track record in providing genuinely compassionate care that treats clients and staff as individuals who deserve respect and support.
