Air Conditioning

All rooms are air conditioned for your comfort.

Cleaning Services
Your room will be cleaned daily. Please notify a member of the nursing staff if you have any concerns regarding any aspect of the housekeeping service.

Footwear
For the safety of both visitors and patients, footwear must be worn in the hospital at all times

Lost Property
Belongings left by patients who have been discharged from hospital are tagged by staff and kept in the ward for safe keeping for at least a month, until someone is able to identify and claim them
.

Mail
Mail will be delivered to your room daily.  Outgoing mail should be given to your visitors to post. Stamps are available from the hospital's shop
.

Parking
The cost to park a vehicle is $4 per day (re-entry on the same day is free of charge).  Disabled carparks are provided.  There are no height restrictions in the carpark however the front door drop-off point & Ambulance Bay are only suitable for vehicles no larger than a small truck or ambulance

Security and After Hours Access
A security service patrols Werribee Mercy Hospital's grounds and property. Please notify a staff member if you see anyone acting suspiciously.

After 8.00pm the hospital is locked to visitors by a security coded door.  If visitors or patients need access to the hospital, they can ask staff in the Emergency Department to have the door opened for them. This measure ensures protection for all patients and staff

Smoking
In the health interests of all patients, staff and visitors, Werribee Mercy Hospital is smoke free. No staff, patients or visitors are permitted to smoke anywhere within the hospital, except in the designated area in the courtyard adjacent to our cafe, McAuleys at Werribee
.

Valuables
Werribee Mercy Hospital has limited facilities for the safe keeping of valuables. Please do not bring large sums of money or valuables such as jewellery or camera equipment with you. The hospital is unable to accept responsibility for their safekeeping
.
